With the COVID-19 pandemic in full swing, many people are looking at a lot of free time stuck indoors. Avoid cabin fever and join participants from around the world by participating in CODEVID-19: the world's first global pandemic hackathon.

Rules

The CODEVID-19 Hackathon is comprises of weekly and final prizes. Weekly prizes are awarded until the week of April 30th: that's when participants can submit their projects for final prize consideration.

Projects compete in four problem areas:

  1. Supporting Crisis Response
  2. Understanding the Pandemic
  3. Social Distancing & Isolation
  4. Scarcity & the Economy

Each project is evaluated on effectiveness, accessibility, and impact. Judges will award Winner and Runner-Up prizes in each problem area. Final prizes are awarded shortly after the judging period concludes. Finally, there is also a single Popular Choice prize.
